They are a leading developer, marketer and wholesaler of consumer products in the outdoor décor industry. The Company sells its products through multiple channels of distribution including big box, grocery/drug and e-commerce. They source from a network of factories primarily in Asia. The position is located at their HQ in City of Industry and the position is in house.

My client seeks hands on and willing to roll up their sleeves candidates with strong leadership and communication skills. You will manage both an Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager and indirectly their overseas accounting team.

Key responsibilities include managing journal entries, invoices etc. and reconciling accounts for the monthly and annual closings, preparing cash flows, budgets and forecasts, leading in preparation of annual audits and developing financial reports for management

Experience in asset based borrowing and managing multiple company books from a product, manufacturing and/or distribution related business will be beneficial as well as experience interacting with external parties such as auditors and lenders. CPA, top tier accounting firm, A/R and A/P best practices experience is all a plus.
