Responsibilities:
Assist department chair and lab assistant with daily operations of milk quality lab.
Collect, sort, and process incoming samples for microbiological analysis.
Properly maintain equipment logs.
Monitor inventory of supplies.
Lab maintenance with cleaning duties on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
Work under the direct supervision of lab assistant.

Qualifications:
HS Diploma
Completion of any lab science course in high school or college
Strong communication, organizational, and listening skills

Considerations
Dairy production is a 24/7, 365 day/year business. Department is open most holidays M-F or the day before and after major holidays.
Holiday time off is seniority based.
