We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Systems Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting Change and Support team. This role is located in Manchester, UK - HYBRID.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

A System Analysts comfortable with implementing solutions and working hands on within a project team.
Previous financial services experience is an advantage
You will create Solution Design documents, including Process definition & mapping, Data analysis, Test Scenarios.
You will source new data feeds from upstream providers and integrate them into our existing data model
Support project managers in delivery of project
Support the Testing Team in quality assurance of solutions & again may need to be directly involved as necessary.
Be directly involved in resolving urgent issues in the production environment.
Supports the Solutions Lead & Change Lead on ad hoc, urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
Develops & drives Continuous Improvement activities for the benefit of the Department.
Keeps their skills (technical, business & professional) current based on the changing demands of the team & projects.
Works collaboratively with fellow System and Business Analysts, contractors & other members of the immediate Change Team.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
Work experience as a System Analyst with previous Financial Services project experience, ideally in Regulatory Reporting covering prudential and statistical reporting (e.g., FinRep, CoRep, Liquidity reporting, AnaCredit etc).
Relevant work experience is a bonus,
Experience of delivering solutions onto Regulatory Reporting platforms, Axiom SL / Adenza preferred, but others such as WKFS an advantage.
Further technical skills or equivalents such as SQL, Excel Data Analysis, VB/VBA, R, Python advantageous
Familiarity with Microsoft Tools like Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams, Power BI
Familiarity with project and development tools like Jira.
