Bennett Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Contract Specialist located in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will conduct processes and procedures as required by the program office.



Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist Government contracting officer's with large and small purchase contract actions.
Review solicitation packages for completeness.
Review funding documents for completeness and accuracy.
Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation package.
May be required to work with a program office to resolve minor issues.
Will be required to input contracts, task orders and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
Research and provide statistical data to contracting officers.
Prepare documents such as market research and other Federal Acquisition Regulatory determinations.


Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 hours of business credits.
At least four (4) years of experience supporting the Federal Government in a contract-related field or assisting a Federal Government Contracting Officer as a contractor.
Proficient knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), specifically FAR Parts 5,8,12 and 15.
Contract Close-Out experience is required.
FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II preferred.

Clearance Level Required: Public Trust

Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
