Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our Second to None team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation and energy efficiency. Responsibilities: Professional engineer that plans, coordinates and monitors data gathering, analyses, as it related to supporting the Armys Energy Program. Provide technical guidance that requires knowledge and experience in translating actual energy usage data, into graphical and numerical documentation. Convey data via written and web-based reporting systems to provide energy management analysis. Provide Energy Management task using Building Automation System (BAS) such as the Utilities Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) using LONWork or BACNet protocols. Identify technologies to improve operational efficiencies. Qualifications: Education and training in the principles and theories of Mechanical Engineering to include heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow dynamics, Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R), controls, operation of Direct Digital Controls (DDC); and electrical/electronic interfaces. As a secondary, the position requires entry level education and training in the principles and theories of Electrical Engineering to include determining load capacities, phasor angles, and electrical drawings.
