Opportunity for a Vice President, Director of SBA Operations to lead and manages the SBA loan life cycle from handoff through closing/funding and portfolio management. This position is responsible for meeting the business unit’s goals and objectives, organizing and directing the execution of operational and strategic business plans in conjunction with the rest of the Bank’s leadership team, and creating a scalable platform to support the growth and expansion of the SBA lending business. Fosters collaboration while directly leading a team of managers responsible for multiple mortgage functions.

What you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of experience in SBA lending and leadership experience managing managers/departments
• Extensive industry knowledge with demonstrated ability to design solutions to problems
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship management skills, with an ability to interact and influence at all functions and levels
• Successful experience in leading SBA lending operations and operations support
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where changes to procedures are common
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills sufficient to interact with all levels of management and staff
• Proven decision-making ability with strong judgment
• Proficient in MS Windows/Outlook
• Must be detailed oriented and possess good management skills with an emphasis on planning, organization, and scheduling
