Responsibility Works… As a Manager, Accounting Research #8809 (hybrid)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Accounting Research in Pittsburgh, PA.

What You’ll Do
As part of our Accounting And Financial Services team, you will be responsible for providing complex technical accounting research and analysis of major transactions and contracts to determine proper U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), participate in the preparation and review of complex financial disclosures, providing insight and technical training to accounting personnel, and contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Active CPA license required
• Minimum of 10+ years combined public accounting, technical accounting and external reporting experience at a publicly held company required; Experience in the financial services industry preferred
• In-depth technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules and the ability to conduct complex research independently required
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and use of the Internet
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards preferred
