Title: Project Manager / Scrum master with Six Sigma

Job Description:

To manage and provide high quality operational and technical application and
systems support. Owner of the Change and Problem Management process, ensuring
PM goals are achieved. Minimizing the adverse impact of Incidents and Problems
on the IT/business and preventing reoccurrence of Incidents. To optimize any
process or operation, which seeks to minimize or eliminate the activities of
non-value add, better known as waste. The focus is to seek those opportunities
by as updating, changing, or correcting current processes with minimal room for
error.

Technical Responsibilities:


Propose and implement process improvements that impact positively on
specific areas, such as efficiency
Responsible for assigning workload and activities. Make improvement
projects based on the reduction in the variation of processes (Six Sigma)
Managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile
methodologies
Develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem
management activities across all support teams
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
Coach team members in Agile frameworks
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Examine potential areas for Service Improvement and raise proposals with
the client manager
Provide technical leadership as required
Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble
shoot and resolve complex problems
Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality
indicators
Follow required procedures and policies (i.e. change control, security and
auditing, release, change management, problem and incident management)
Contribute to management reports on an agreed frequency
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Help build a productive environment where team members ?own? the product
and enjoy working on it

Must Have Technical Qualifications:


Experience in a scrum master role
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition
of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
Extensive problem solving and debugging skills
Deep understanding of Six Sigma principles
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
Scrum master certification is a plus  

Must Have Business Qualifications:


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Strong written, verbal
communication and Presentation skills)
Organize and present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
Nice to Have Qualifications:


ITIL Certification
Strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high
