Position: IT Programmer Analyst Location: Harleysville, PA (100% Remote) Type: Contract Job Description: Skill Required: · Oracle PL/SQL - minimum 5 years · JAVA object-oriented programming language - minimum 5 years · Minimum of 3 years? experience in Oracle ADF/JDeveloper, WebLogic, OAF · REST/Web Services - minimum 3 years · SVN/GitHub - minimum 2 years · JDeveloper, ANT, Maven, WebLogic, JAVA/JEE, Object Oriented Programming Design and Development concepts. · JavaScript/jQuery, Shell Scripts and UNIX · Postman to test REST API · Oracle SQL <> Requirements: · BE/B-tech or MCA in computer science or related field · Minimum 5 yrs. experience in technical and business applications, preferably in a major manufacturing environment utilizing oracle development best practices and industry standards. Main Responsibilities: · Conduct thorough problem analysis in regard to technical system and application programs; documents findings and proposes problem resolution alternatives · Participate in the development of functional requirements and design specifications as appropriate. · Ensure accurate project status and work estimates are always reported /communicated to project leaders/managers in a timely fashion. Develop detailed project and task estimates as needed. · Document technical specifications and solution designs from which applications can be developed that satisfy business requirements and envision potential future requirements to ensure solutions are flexible and scalable. · Provide development and technical expertise to ensure applications function according to business and technical requirements. Prepare and deliver technical documentation as required. · Critically reviews all programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with established departmental guidelines, policies and practices as well as industry standard guidelines. · Ensure that all technical configurations and solutions are thoroughly unit-tested prior to delivery. · Develop, and implement solutions to support Colorcon business services and projects initiatives. · Understand business process and applications that support core Colorcon business services · Provide technical leadership to the enterprise including being conversant with future direction of systems, how that direction will impact the enterprise, and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the enterprise. · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. · Serve as technical lead to manage and coordinate specific aspects of a business project (small to medium).
