Pharmtrace is a clinical CRO specializing in studies which use imaging modalities, such as CT, MRI, PET/CT, PET/MRI and SPECT/CT. Pharmtrace uses its own proprietary software ERICA for image collection, archiving, quality control and independent read. Our projects can be in any therapeutic area and developmental phase. However, the majority are late phase (phase 2 and 3) trials in oncology, cardiology and neurology. We have a diverse team which operates studies globally with international clients. We can provide all aspects of trial management including protocol design, site selection, regulatory submissions for study approvals, data management, monitoring, safety management, statistics and reporting.

Job description
We are hiring a clinical imaging scientist to expand our imaging team. If you are interested in applying your imaging knowledge in clinical trials, you can contribute to bringing new medicinal products and devices to market. We are a growing company, which means you may have different responsibilities or roles within projects. Depending on the size and complexity of a clinical trial, you may be responsible for managing several trials concurrently as a project coordinator and provide imaging support also for other project teams.
Responsibilities
Define imaging endpoints and image acquisition parameters
Prepare imaging core documentation such as imaging charters, site qualification questionnaires and image log forms
Develop criteria for qualification of sites clinical scanners, review the site replies to the questionnaires, review phantom data
Design both clinical and imaging CRFs
Prepare imaging manual and training material for clinical sites
Prepare training material for independent readers and other experts
Configure and validate study specific ERICA instances
Keep up to date with new developments in the imaging field
Support study protocol and clinical study report writing
General project management activities including preparation and review of other study documentation, contact and support of study sites, management of timelines and budgets
Collaborate and liaise with external partners
Participate in meetings with potential and existing clients
Requirements
Background in medical physics, biomedical engineering or equivalent, or physician with specialization in imaging, PhD preferred
Hands-on experience with at least one clinical imaging modality
Interest in clinical research and development
Previous clinical trial management experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge of different image analysis software
Great problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Adaptable and flexible to multiple demands and shifting priorities
Interest and ability to work with interdisciplinary people with different educational backgrounds
Knowledge of any of the following is an advantage: radiation dosimetry, statistics, kinetic modeling, quantitative imaging, artificial intelligence
