Position: Technical System Admin

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract


Responsibilities include


- Install various software on Windows and Linux environments.

Current understanding of best practices regarding system security
measures .

Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with
various operating systems and their implications
-

Support deployment of in house developed and/or custom application
-

Work with agile development team to resolve any architecture related
issues.
-

Assist in troubleshooting and correcting issue, adapting to new
technologies, interfaces and working with vendor for various software
installations.
-

Install and plan new software releases and upgrades.
-

Performs system backups/images and recovery.
-

Proficiency and proven experience in the following technologies is
desired:

Jenkins
-

Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Ansible
-

Git, Subversion, Maven
-

Monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts and best
practices
-

Ability to lead and train junior team members to achieve project
objectives

Outstanding analytical skills

Willingness to work in an Agile team but also be self-directed with high
engagement
