Role : Middleware Admin

Location : San Jose, CA

Duration : 12+ Months




The Middleware admin is responsible for end-to-end setup support of Apache
Webserver, HA Proxy. Candidate should also have fair understanding of other MW
technologies like WebSphere Application Server OR Oracle WebLogic Application
server. Candidate should be good at installation, migration, configuration,
deployment and supporting middleware applications. The ideal candidate should
have 5 or more years of experience with middleware administration.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Primary Skills: Apache Webserver, HAProxy

Secondary Skills:Shell scripting, Unix administration, WebSphere Application
Server, Oracle WebLogic Application Server

5+ years' experience in the administration of Apache Web Server and HAProxy

candidate should be worked on Reverse proxy and the should be well aware of
its configuration

Able to deal with complex issues involving customers and vendors

Strong skills in the administration of perl hosting platforms, SSL
administration

Well experienced in RHEL platform

Perform installation, upgrade, migrate, configure, patching and maintain
Apache

Support standard software maintenance and application deployments to prod
and non-prod environments

Demonstrate ability to automate and maintain automation of routine functions

Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in team
projects

Perform related duties as required and provide off-hours support for
Middleware related issues

Identify Root Cause and be able to apply preventive actions for environment
specific Problems

Available for off-hour deployments and provide 24x7 on-call production
support
