Job Title- Data Platform Administrator/Engineer with experience on Apache NiFi
Start date = immediately

Duration = 6month but could be long term



looking for a data platform engineer with experience on Apache NiFi (an
ETL/ELT tool) platform.

That translates to following requirements:

1> In general, data platform engineering experience. The works ?
infrastructure setup, alerts and monitoring, logging subsystem, CI/CD setup and
roll out, security. Automation of these aspects via scripting.

Specific to this role, platform engineering for Apache NiFi, AWS MSK, Hashi
vault, Dynatrace, Unbound.

2> Strong with Python and shell scripting.

3> Candidate who is good with BIG DATA/HADOOP ON ADM SIDE SHOULD ALSO BE A
GOOD FIT.

4> High IT platform IQ. Seminally nix, FTP, systems administration and
scripting for automation, cloud platforms, security ? securing credentials and
sensitive information.

5> Good documentation skills. Confluence is the tool of choice.

Core infrastructure set up for NiFi is complete. It is in production and
customers are starting to onboard. There is some documentation available to
ease ramp up.

Immediate asks for this role are to quickly get up to speed on
state-of-the-art NiFi platform and start contributing to ongoing hardening and
automation efforts.



Skills needed-

Working knowledge of Linux

o Experience developing on a Mac

Working knowledge of at least one OO programming language (bonus for strength
here)

AWS knowledge, specifically around Pub/ Sub models, Lambda/ serverless
architectures, ECS

Working knowledge of DevOps pipelines (Terraform, Jenkins)

Data movement experience

o Does not necessarily have to be NiFi, but huge place or related technology

Familiarity with event-driven design
