Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an Engineer to join our team. With a focus on transport infrastructure projects, this presents an exciting opportunity in a long-term role with the opportunity for further career development. About the role The position on offer is for a dedicated and out of the box thinker with at least 18 months experience to fulfill the role of Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and production of engineering documentation across a broad range of engineering disciplines including road design and drafting, cost estimating, traffic engineering and transport planning, while also providing general support to the team in areas such as project management and design and drafting. About you Completed a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Civil Engineering Minimum of 18 months relevant experience in transport infrastructure projects Sound AutoCAD knowledge and experience preferred Experience in using 12D, SIDRA, Expert Estimation and other related software packages would be highly regarded A high skill level in using Microsoft Excel and Word Sound written and verbal communication skills Ability to relate to clients with a high degree of professionalism Strong attention to detail While not essential, a background in construction will be well regarded This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring engineer to join a growing consultancy based on the Gold Coast and be part of a team working in a genuine and supportive environment.
