Calco Timber Trusses Calco Timbers manufacture timber Roof Trusses and Wall Frames for the residential building industry. We have several positions available due to our expansion and are currently seeking highly motivated people who are available for an immediate start and seeking full time work. We offer a bright and clean work environment with an early finish on Fridays. Day and Afternoon shifts are available. Hours are: Day Shift: Mon-Thurs 6.30 am - 3.11 pm and Fri 6.30 am - 12.11 pm Afternoon Shift: Mon - Fri 3.05 pm - 11.46 pm Fri 12.05 - 5.46 pm Duties include but are not limited to: Hand and power tool operation Use of a strapping machine Meeting daily production and quality targets Assembly line work Physical manual handling General housekeeping Quality control and assurance To be successful for this role, you must possess the following skills: Reliable, committed and hard working. Sound communication skills. Ability to adhere to OHS principles and practices. Able to follow the companys policies and procedures. Ability to work in a team environment. The following skills are highly desirable. Previous manufacturing experience. Previous experience within the timber/construction industry. Experience working with timber products is a distinct advantage. All successful applicants will receive full training.
