Fire Protection Company in need of an experienced licenced Electrician with a can do attitude who is required for electrical upgrade works, fire detection, light repairs and associated tasks. As we are a small company, we like to ensure all our staff are multi-skilled, therefore you will need to learn and perform fire inspections as part of your daily routine. This will be a hands-on role, where you will have a range of duties including (but not limited to): 1. Periodic testing of sprinkler systems, pumpsets, Fire Panels, EWIS etc. 2. Annual Fire Inspections for residential, commercial and industrial properties 3. Electrical repairs, new installations (some construction sites) and maintenance We pride ourselves on always going above and beyond for our clients and need our staff to encapsulate this same ethos. You will often be working unsupervised so you should be willing to learn to work on a range of different fire protection systems and equipment (without any adverse effects). We are looking for self-starters who will proficiently carry out the work in the required timeframe and above all, who are honest, trustworthy and reliable. Prerequisites for this Position The successful candidate will have: Willingness to understand the workings of all fire related equipment Strong organisational problem solving skills Superior work ethic with high regard for punctuality Clean driving record and current driver''s licence High attention to detail and pride in your work Willingness to learn new skills Flexible approach Professional presentation at all times Good customer service and communication skills Age is not a concern, we encourage mature workers to apply if you possess the physical ability to carry out your duties.
