YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Within this role you will be responsible for all aspects of full customer support, focusing on after-sales support as well as repairs and testing of electronics. Independent troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies Receive call and emails and answer technical request (troubleshooting) Commissioning and troubleshooting at the location and at our customers site Occasionally conducting customer technical training for our products and systems Occasionally performing hardware and software tests Report major technical issues to headquarters in Germany Provide and co-ordinate service support across the Asia Pacific region YOUR PROFILE: Successfully completed university studies or completed trainee program e.g. in communications engineering, media technology, pro-audio, radio- or broadcasting technology or relevant job experience in the area of broadcasting/ technical fields An operational understanding of Riedel Communications'' products and services Knowledge of analogue and digital audio and video technology as well as knowledge of ethernet-based networks would be a plus as well as experience with testing new hardware and software Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams Experience in systematic troubleshooting and very good soldering skills MS Office knowledge English spoken and written is a must, other languages are desirable (German/Japanese/Mandarin) Willingness to travel in Australia and Asia Pacific Valid driver''s license No agencies thank you.
