The Asia Pacific Office a global company located in Norwest Business Park has an exciting position available for an experienced Customer Support person to join their team. This position offers responsibility, lots of variety, customer contact and career satisfaction. The main focus is to provide a high level of support in enabling the sales team to manage their customer base, and as required to directly provide support and assistance to customers.

Duties:

  • Leading the process of ensuring alignment on range details between company and our customers databases (mass channel) and in resolving inaccuracies. Includes specifics of ranges, pricing and product information.
  • Building sustainable relationships with Customers and providing general sales and product information.
  • Assisting in the setup of products for retailers by completing product submission forms.
  • Arranging product samples for retailers and distributors.
  • Providing catalogue art to retailers and distributors.
  • Assisting in the development of new product ranges.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the customer support function (specialty and mass) as required during absence and high volume periods.
  • Assisting the sales team in ad hoc duties.
  • Receive and process customer orders via email and fax
  • Processing EDI and VMI customer orders when required
Office support duties including:
  • Organising Birthdays Events
  • Greeting Guests in reception
  • Handling inbound telephone calls
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Organising Outbound post on occasion

  • Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Requirements:
  • Clear fluent English with outstanding communication skills Essential
  • Proven track record/experience in a similar role - Essential
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under your own initiative, prioritise and problem solve
  • Self-motivated with initiative, good work ethic and can do attitude
  • Calm, polite and well mannered
  • Common sense approach to work with mature mind set
  • Flexible to change in a dynamic environment
  • Word, Excel (Advanced) and Outlook
  • Good relationship building skills
