About the business and the role Poka Dot Kids Early Learning Centres are a privately- owned family business that operates within the Illawarra region over three separate locations. We are currently seeking a Centre Manager to manage all day to day operations of one of our 28 place centres. Our childcare educators play a pivotal role in providing care and education for our families. Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting directly to the managing director, the role of this position is to: - Manage all day to day functions of the childcare centre in accordance with the company''s values. - Be an inspiring leader and mentor to our amazing team of educators - Implement a dynamic, exciting program reflecting each child''s individual interests - Maintain children developmental records at a high standard - Ensure the Centre is compliant with state legislation and will exceed National Quality Standards (NQS) - Ensure the highest quality of care is provided by the centre at all times Skills and experience In order to be successful within this position, you will possess the following: - Bachelor of Teaching / Education - At least 3 years experience as a Centre Manager - Experience in delivering and planning with EYLF - Excellent communication and writing skills - Dedicated attitude towards children''s learning and development current WWCC
