Purpose of the Role


The Social Media Executive will be responsible for helping execute and deliver social campaigns, both content and paid.
They will have an understanding the fundamentals of best-in-class community management and social care, as well as being a whizz at drafting copy that is considerate of a brands tone and voice and social persona.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be across social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, (and other emerging platforms).

  • Client Engagement
    • Supporting the Content Manager and Director with ongoing client and team management
    • Professional communication with clients, vendors, and partners
    • Consultancy on best practice and overcoming business challenges
  • Community Management
    • Strategic social community management that includes day-to-day management
    • Managing social care workflows into client teams
    • Creating and updating the conversation matrix and reactive process documents
    • Social CRM working closely with the content manager to identify customer needs as well as garner insights to uncover opportunities and fuel proactive content campaigns and idea
  • Campaign Management
    • Project management of campaigns, including research of ideas and opportunities and analysing ideas that deliver against a proposed social strategy.
    • Assisting with the development and execution of content calendars and strategies across multiple channels and formats
    • Developing, optimising, and maintaining paid social and Google ad campaigns for clients.
    • Budget management.
    • Managing and coordinating multiple facets of social content creation and execution.
  • Reporting and Insights
    • Maintaining and optimising client campaigns to improve overall performance against pre-determined benchmarks on an ongoing basis
    • Analysing and reporting data on a daily / weekly / bi-weekly / monthly ad-hoc basis
    • Develop, document, and implement Paid Social media best practices within client accounts
    • Experience and familiarity with using social listening, scheduling and analytics tools
    • Keeping abreast of industry news and developing POVs to communicate relevant updates to client.
SKILLS PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
2 years in a Social Exec or Community Management role
Social media and community reporting experience
Strong project management and interpersonal skills
A creative mind; attending content brainstorms, coming up with social ideas
An interest in paid media planning and digital insights is preferred
Comfortable managing your time, and managing multiple requests
Experience using: Facebook Business Manager,Google AdWords YouTube,Content Management Systems,Content Calendars,Ad scheduling Multitasking and management of multiple stakeholders Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
