Candice Care is a new provider of in-home support services. We are expanding our services, and are now looking for experienced Support Workers for our In-Home Support Programs for both Aged Care and Disability Support in Launceston surrounding areas. About the role: You will be providing support to our clients in their own home and one on one support in the community. This role is based in the Launceston region. If you live in surrounding areas you must be willing to travel and have a reliable vehicle clear open licence. Suitable candidates will be hired on a casual basis with an opportunity to grow within our team. The shifts may cover Mondays-Sunday AM or PM, so you must be flexible to work a rotating roster. You also need to be prepared to use your own vehicle for travel and community access (there is a reimbursement available for travel). What are we looking for? Experience providing in-home care, domestic assistance, community access, meal preparation social support Passionate about providing excellent person-centred care support Ability to use your own smart phone our online client management system (training is provided) Prepared to use your own vehicle for travel e.g community access, taking shopping to appointments etc Flexibility with working a variety of shift times across a rotating roster You will be a self-motivated, positive and caring individual who is flexible and be able to work efficiently on a 1:1 capacity. If successful in the role, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check and hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).
