Acme Case is a family owned Crate and Pallet-Making business located in Marrickville. We are seeking Crate / Pallet Makers or Labourers / Handyman to commence immediately. This is an ongoing role, with a view to permanency (for TOP performers) - if you''re looking for a new job to step into, this could be for you! Hours are between Monday- Thursday (7:30am - 4:30pm) Friday (7:30pm - 1:30pm). We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals who will hit the ground running and aren''t scared of a hard days work! In this role you will be required to work within a fast-paced environment, manufacturing various sized wooden pallets and crates as well as performing some On-Site packing jobs. You will need to be experienced and confident handling Air / Power and Hand Tools eg Band Saws and Nail Guns. To be successful in this role you MUST meet the following criteria: - Must be confident utilising hand and power tools - Previous experience with timber or wood will be highly regarded - Previous experience as a Pallet Maker highly regarded Mature, confident and hard working - Be physically fit and able to work on your feet all day - Must be safety conscious and work well within fast paced environment - Punctual, efficient and reliable - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - Flexible and committed to working within the needs of the business - Drivers licence preferred Bennifits Half-day Fridays 1 minute from Sydenham Station Plenty of OT hours available for TOP performers 100 year old company that respects employees and provides good job security We have a good, happy culture and like to reward hard work with loyalty and perks.
