Position: Business Analyst Location: Baton Rouge, LA / Onsite Position Duration: 1 Year Positions: 1     The scope of the proposed services will include the following: Elicits, analyzes and documents customer business needs and requirements in order to produce an accurate business case for the project. Identify approaches to addressing legacy processes in new, modernized application development environments. Collaborates with the Product Owner, agile team and relevant subject matter experts to define high quality user stories with detailed acceptance criteria. This includes functional and non-functional requirements Performs and/or facilitates business and technical analysis in support of project design and implementation. Works with customer and quality assurance to identify needed test data and develop test cases that ensure expected functionality and features are validated before and during User Acceptance Testing. Perform GAP analysis to determine if business requirements are being met Performs special tasks as assigned. This includes such tasks as assisting with preparation of highly complex specialized reports, and serving on data conversion and Quality Assurance teams.   Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:     5 years of experience with business analytics processes including creating requirements and design documents and facilitating project related meetings with business partners. Minimum 2 years? experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile Environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Experience with Corrections, Judicial, Law Enforcement Systems Experience with FileNet or Electronic Data Management Systems Experience with data conversion Experience with reporting and data warehousing Experience with JIRA PMI-PBA or CBAP certification Familiarity with Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Experience with User Acceptance Testing Experience managing Projects utilizing Software Development methodologies such as but not limited to: Waterfall, DevOps, Extreme Programming, Rapid Application Development, Agile Development, etc.
