Cyber Security Analyst - Up to $65,000   We are a leading CyberSecurity and CyberCompliance company working with the banking industry to provide cybersecurity and cybercompliance support services.   Our company is currently seeking a talented Cybersercurity Analyst with a passion for CyberSecurity and a strong military background to join our team.     COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS   Salary of up to $65,000 (DOE $55,000-$65,000) Shift Available- 7-4. Paid Holidays Dental, health and vision insurance benefits 401k retirement plan Accrued Vacation     WHAT YOU?LL DO Analyze aggregated technology infrastructure logs and application data to identify potential cybersecurity risks and anomalous patterns   Perform accurate and precise real-time analysis and correlation of data from numerous and disparate client devices to document, escalate and mitigate potential and actual security events. Analyze and assess security incidents and escalate to client resources or appropriate internal teams for additional assistance. Engage in the Incident Response Lifecycle to mitigate, circumvent, and prevent attacker objectives, including the validation and authorship of use cases and functions leveraging event data, SIEM log analysis, and network data analysis tools.  Acquire CCNA, JNCIA, CISSP, CEH, or other network/security related certifications within the first year of hire  Handle clients' requests and questions in a timely and detail-oriented fashion in order to address and/or resolve security-related situations.       SKILLS YOU?LL NEED SIEM experience and knowledge is strongly desired. Experience in SOC and incident response is highly desired. Quick thinker and ability to act autonomously Must be able to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve both complex and straightforward problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information. Experience, and understanding of networking and network security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxies, Content Filtering, Application Security, SIEM and Log, monitor/management, Vulnerability Management, Risk and Compliance.     REQUIREMENTS Relevant work experience in computer science, engineering, or information technology, or equivalent demonstrated experience, in a related information technology or security discipline. Banking operations, banking technology or payment processing experience a plus Two years of information technology experience with one year in an information securityrelated role Experience with PKI in a Windows environment is an example of desired encryption experience.
