Slab Handler

SLAB HANDLER   Leading distribution company with plants throughout the U.S. and worldwide. We are recruiting a Slab Handler to join our team.   WHAT YOU'LL DO Primarily unload containers using a saws all to cut wood and a forklift to extract bundles of slabs. Operate an overhead crane to put bundles to locations and register them with an iPad. Pull slabs from the warehouse from the slab orders provided. Move slabs to loading areas by using overhead cranes. Load slabs on customer?s vehicle/truck. Ensure that product is well secured on vehicle/truck and takes all necessary safety measures. Unload slabs from containers using forklifts. Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in Slab Warehouse. Responsible for maintaining the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers.   WORK DAYS/ HOURS   Monday-Fri, working alternating Saturdays. 7:30am -5:30pm         SKILLS YOU'LL NEED   Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience. Forklift, Crane and warehouse experience preferred.
