ENTRY-LEVEL OPERATING TECHNICIAN - 3RD SHIFT

WHAT YOU?LL DO
 
Here?s the technical stuff but it?s worth a read as this will be your daily to-do list!
 
  • Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption.
  • Machine readiness ? inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up.
  • Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution.
  • Package parts for shipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution.
  • Ensure part quality meets established standards.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, as required.
  • Complete all shift documentation/paperwork.
  • Shift hand-off ? go over job status and updates with incoming shift.
  • Participate in safety programs.
  • Follow all established safety procedures.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Other duties as assigned
 
WHEN YOU?LL DO IT
 
  • 3rd Shift ? 10:50 pm to 7 am
  • Monday thru Friday with Paid Overtime for Weekends

  • Some manufacturing or related experience;
  • Mechanical aptitude;
  • Some communication abilities to meet training, safety & quality requirements.
  • Ability to solve basic math problems.

WHAT YOU?LL GET
 
  • Up to $21.30/hour based on experience
  • Shift differential - $0.50/hour
  • $2.00/hour extra after ini
