WHAT YOU'LL DO
Here?s the technical stuff but it?s worth a read as this will be your daily to-do list.
 
  • Develop & implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals such as directing sales forecasting activities to set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules & discount rates.
  • Direct staffing, training & performance evaluations to develop/control sales program.
  • Direct channel development activity to coordinate sales distribution by establishing quotas & goals; Advise dealers, distributors & clients concerning sales/advertising techniques.
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy & assist dealers in promoting sales.
  • Direct product simplification & standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Meet with key clients & assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating & closing deals - Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Assist other departments within the company to prepare manuals & technical publications.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client based expansion - Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Direct product research and needs of a product within a given region.
