Job Opening We are currently looking for a mechanical engineer to design and develop micro-assemblies intended for the packaging of optical and micro-electronic products. You will closely work with our design, microfabrication, electronic and test teams to develop new optical chips for the telecom, datacom, and quantum sensors markets. Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, draw, develop and improve mechanical structures, micro-assemblies and the various devices intended for the packaging of the company's optical and micro-electronic products. Carry out the parametric 3D assembly design and the realization of technical drawings. Carry out studies of mechanical and thermal behavior by means of finite element simulation and perform the experimental characterization. Participate in the assembly of the necessary prototypes and perform mechanical tests. Provide mechanical expertise to a multidisciplinary development team consisting of optical, Silicon Photonics, IC, reliability, manufacturing/process, and test engineering. Define specifications/requirements for outsourced custom components and coordinate/interface with manufacturers/suppliers.
