Description Established mobile veterinary practice, At Home Veterinary Services, is seeking a compassionate, organized, Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant for full-time or part-time work. Our focus is on geriatric medicine, feline medicine, palliative care, and pain control. No surgical or dental procedures at this time. House calls are never boring! We take pride in providing a high-touch, personalized service. Requirements We are seeking a detail-oriented person who enjoys a varied work environment and is able to think outside the box. The position requires a lot of driving throughout the PDX metro area so a clean driving record is necessary. You will be accompanying one of our veterinarians to clients' homes to see their pets. About 80% of our patients are cats so confident, yet gentle, cat restraint skills are a must. Experience with handling dogs in the veterinary environment is also essential. At this point, no weekend hours will be required. Wages and benefits are competitive and experience is taken into consideration.
