We are a large and diverse manufacturer with an immediate opening in our Assembly department for various full-time positions located at our Facility in Calgary, Alberta.

Licensed/certified professionals are highly preferred, but anyone with relevant industry experience is encouraged to apply.

 

Multiple Positions Available:

  • Mechanical Specialist
  • Hydraulic Specialist
  • Mechanical Apprentice and Journeyman - Millwright or Heavy Equipment Tech
  • Mechanical Assembler

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble or repair any hydraulic motors, drives, pumps or major/minor sub-assemblies in any type of vehicle or rig
  • Assists in hosing and testing of these components, in any type of vehicle or rig
  • Troubleshoots hydraulic issues on new or used equipment and assists Field Service, given reasonable notice, to carry out field repairs. Offers hydraulic expertise to Service Reps. (Hydraulic Specialist)
  • Assembles components to quality required and accepted performance
  • Assist less experience personnel with work methods, work habits and performance
  • Works without direction to most complicated hydraulic diagrams, schematics etc., and/or verbal instructions
  • Perform other tasks related to his/her classification

 

Qualifications:

  • Should be a qualified licensed tradesman of the Province of Alberta or be mechanically inclined with a strong background in the industry
  • Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of assembly, mechanical, or hydraulic assembly
  • Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
  • Experience in maintenance operations, driver and control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
  • Basic level experience in rigging operations and equipment
  • Mechanical assembly experience an asset
  • Safety Training an asset, but will train as required
  • Strong track record building, servicing, troubleshooting complex mobile mechanical or hydraulic equipment
  • English, basic proficiency verbal and written
