Based on the South Shore of Montreal, PRO-BALLAST is in full expansion and is looking for a Welder, passionate about assembling metal products, to join their team.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Welder will be responsible for the completion and assembly of components and fabricated products by welding.  He/she is accountable for the quality of his/her work and productivity in order to deliver high quality products on time.

  • Reading and ability to proceed to the various complex assemblies and jigs as needed; 
  • Master all welding positions and processes for all types of metals used in the company's manufacturing; 
  • Produces compliant products according to the requirements of the position to which he/she is assigned and the applicable welding standards;
  • Participates in the maintenance of welding machines; 
  • Operates various shaping and cutting equipment;
  • Assists and participates in the training of welders;
  • Develops the methods and templates necessary to produce the required components;
  • Raises any problems encountered during the course of his/her work;
  • Works in a manner that respects the premises, individuals and tools;
