Combustion / Heating Technician

Carmichael is looking for an experienced Heating technician with their Tag 1 to join our Service team in our Quebec Branch.  Perform seasonal maintenance on a wide variety of hot water and steam heating systems in the industrial and institutional sectors. System diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem resolution Test combustion equipment and controls for issues Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and mechanical testing equipment Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems Observe and test system operation using gauges and test instruments and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable system operations Estimate, order and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunctions Requirements: Tag 1 Gas Technician license Ability to provide exceptional customer service Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical and electrical skills Team Player; excellent oral and written communication skills; client focus; dependable; reliable; flexible.
