Champaign Urbana Nursing & Rehab is a 213-bed skilled nursing facility in Central Illinois in Champaign County. We are in the Savoy neighborhood next to the Champaign and Urbana communities. We specialize in providing health care to individuals in need of skilled nursing care for an extended period or for short-term rehabilitation.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities include but are not limit to:


  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in preparing written and/or oral reports of the nursing service programs and activities to submit to such committee(s).
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
  • Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR?S, regulations, professional standards of practice, etc.) maintained at the nurses? stations is current. Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing service department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.
