The facility is under new ownership and renovations to beautify the campus are underway!   The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality of care throughout the entire facility. He or she will also be required to manage and train our nursing staff. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a nursing leadership position, a strong ability to work with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including but not limited to: ensuring use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, infection control measures. Assist in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for the residents. Regular rounding on nursing units that includes but is not limited to: checking in with licensed and unlicensed staff, checking residents who are acutely ill or actively dying, greeting all new admissions. Assure that staff treats residents with dignity and respect.
