We are looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing business.   Tired of just doing preventative maintenance or working only on engines? Are you ready to take the next step and work on equipment that requires a high level of skill using modern maintenance practices and technologies?   Roles and Responsibilities Inspect all equipment coming in and leaving tool crib - monitor tool crib Inspecting, Diagnosing and Repairing: electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and trailer frames; hitching/coupling systems; trailer bodies; suspension systems; tires, wheels, hubs and axles; air and auxiliary systems; braking systems and hydraulic systems Using hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications Perform scheduled PM's Fleet Maintenance, Ordering, Advising on work performed, general condition and future work required Perform service on Heavy Equipment: Excavators, Dozers, Doosan, skid steer, backhoe, roller, Western Star, Mack, Kenworth trucks, etc. Reviewing work orders and discussing work to be performed with the Fleet Manager Accurately update information and maintenance performed Complete Welding & Fabrication work   Qualifications 310T Mechanic license Ability to read and interpret owner/operator/manufacturer operating manuals and service specifications Able to keep up-to-date on technology and upgrading skills as required Parts charge out and parts sourcing accuracy is required Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required certifications related to the trade May be required to operate a mobile service truck as needed   Benefits Offering Competitive/ Negotiable Wages  Health insurance Dental insurance Disability insurance Life insurance 47.5hrs/week Overtime opportunities Company events Company Overview For over 15 years, we have been supplying the materials, manpower and Construction needed for building vibrant communities.
