A beautiful Nursing facility located in the Bloomsburg, PA area is seeking an RN, Assistant Director of Nursing to assist overseeing all nursing operations of the facility. The ADON should be a hard-working and compassionate Registered Nurse who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. ADON - Salary  $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience ADON - Benefits: Career Advancement Opportunities PTO- Vacation, Sick & Holiday Pay 401k Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Flexible HRA & FSA Spending Account Cancer, Critical illness, Short Term Disability and Life Insurance Available ADON - Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee Quality Assurance, Infectious Control Program and Antibodies Stewardship Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department. Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current at all times and reflects the day-to-day nursing care procedures used by this facility. Develop and periodically update nursing service objectives and statements of philosophy. Assist in developing and implementing a nursing service organization structure. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/ required, concerning the operation of the nursing service department. Periodically review the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc. Make recommendations for revisions of policies, procedures, etc., to the Director of Nursing Services. ADON - Requirements: Current PA RN license Prior ADON experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. Must pass background check
