The primary purpose is to assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the day to day functions of the Nursing department to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, as directed by the Administrator or the Director of Nursing. Reports to DON.

Job Duties & Responsibilities · Will act as DON in absence of DON · Assist the DON in planning, developing, organizing, implementing the day to day functions of the nursing department in accordance with all governing rules. · Assist in nursing education 1. Provide in-service training in the following areas for all CNAs on a monthly basis a. Catheter Care b. Pericare c. Infection Control d. Oral care & hygiene
