The Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) is responsible for the clinical oversight, planning, quality, and supporting of the nursing services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator. About our facility: At Cedarwood Gardens, it is our mission to provide our residents with customized rehabilitation programs to ensure optimal recovery and superior care. With 82 beds and an extensive list of amenities, we bring a new level of comfort to the care received. BSN preferred At least five (5) years? experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility, including geriatric nursing preferred. Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills. Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing care. Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan. Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted per MA regulations
