We are seeking a talented Senior Leasing Manager to join our Real Estate team. We are looking for a qualified candidate who is skilled in the arts of lead generation, relationship building, and negotiation. T he ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, quick learner who thoroughly understands commercial real estate leasing and embraces the responsibility for completing transactions.

About the role
  • Manages the leasing cycle from start to finish. Establishes appropriate timelines and drives adherence to the same.
  • Partners with listing broker and/or other outside brokers to source new tenants and has primary responsibility for negotiating new transactions, renewals, and amendments.
  • Responsible for the initial preparation lease/amendment/agreement drafts utilizing established forms.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Director, Property Manager, and Construction team on pertinent lease/agreement provisions. Works with legal counsel to finance lease/amendment/agreements for execution.
  • Assists Director and Vice President in teaming with joint venture partner on transactions for jointly owned assets.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and initiative to identify opportunities, attract new tenants, and promptly lease second generation and new construction vacant space.
  • Collaborates with Director, Property Manager, and Construction team to prepare and market upcoming available space.
  • Assists the Real Estate Department in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by providing timely and accurate information, promptly responding to management, tenant and contractor inquires, or routing inquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Performs complex and confidential administrative functions including reviewing invoices and delinquency reports; responses to external correspondence.
  • Assists Real Estate team in resolving tenant complaints and issues, and services as liaison to tenants, Property Manager and Finance departments regarding the administrative of common area maintenance and the enforcement of landlord rules and regulations.
  • Works closely with the Real Estate team in accomplishing many of the above responsibilities; does so in a way that fosters teamwork.
  • Keeps confidential all information learned in daily job functions pertaining to the company and its personnel.
  • Additional job duties, responsibilities, and projects as deemed necessary.

  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy and integrity; maintain confidentiality on all matters.
  • High proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel


Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing required.
  • College degree preferred.
