<p>The Pot Washer will be responsible for providing service to our internal and external customers in a variety of ways including but not limited to cleaning, ware washing, pot washing, dishroom, stocking, sweeping, mopping and the overall upkeep of sanitation and housekeeping in the unit. S/He will wash pots, pans, utensils, and trays and other kitchen equipment in a three compartment sink. S/He will allow all cleaned equipment to air dry and put it away in their designated areas for use. S/He will be responsible for correctly using cleaning and sanitizing agents while also ensuring the water is at the proper temperature. S/He will follow all established procedures for cleaning small wares and equipment. S/He also be responsible for ensuring that the restrooms are clean and sanitary and that all of the generated trash is disposed of properly. S/He may also be asked to assist with basic kitchen tasks and other related tasks for special events. S/He may at times need to provide guidance and direction to assigned helpers.</p>
