Come inspire children, teens, and young adults to learn and make a difference in their lives!</p> <p><br /> We are looking for an enthusiastic RBT to work in the East Bay in Contra Costa County with the greatest current need in Brentwood or El Cerrito.</p> <p>COVID-19: telehealth (online therapy) opportunities are also available on a temporary basis, in addition to in-person services. This position is not exclusively for telehealth. As such, we are dedicated to competent, ethical practice in ABA; kind-hearted care for both the client and employee; and acting on principles of behavior and learning to improve lives.</p> <p>- ABA is not only a therapy for kids with autism, so as an RBT with Inspire Behavioral Learning, you also have the opportunity to work with other populations to become a well-rounded ABA practitioner.</p> <p>- Enjoy 30 minutes or less drive time between client locations.</p> <p>- Opportunity for a raise 90 days from your date of hire.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <p><br /> - Provide one-one-one behavioral therapy for children to young adults under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)</p> <p>- Engage learners in interactive behavioral therapy, using the principles of ABA in natural environments, such as the client&rsquo;s home, school, and community.</p> <p>- Travel to clients in their homes throughout the East Bay, following health and safety precautions</p> <p>- During COVID-19, on a temporary basis, do telehealth sessions as needed</p> <p>- Travel to clients in their schools and communities throughout the East Bay when they reopen and in accordance with health and safety requirements</p> <p>- Help learners replace problem behavior and acquire new skills through mastery, generalization, and maintenance of individualized goals in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Verbal behavior</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Social skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Play skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Motor skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Self-help and daily living skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Safety skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Executive functioning</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Self-advocacy</li> </ul> <p>- Apply methods of ABA in therapy sessions, including naturalistic and incidental teaching, discrete trial training (DTT), functional communication training (FCT), verbal behavior, and positive reinforcement based on learner preferences and choices</p> <p>- Communicate client progress with parents/guardians and teachers where applicable</p> <p>- Record accurate, objective session notes in vivo</p> <p>- Use an online data collection system</p> <p>- Demonstrate ongoing competency in the most current RBT&reg; Task List and RBT&reg; Ethics Code</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:</p> <p><br /> - Submit proof of current Registered Behavior Technician&trade;(RBT&reg;) certification by the BACB&reg; - $250 sign-on bonus for active and unexpired RBT&reg; certification by the BACB&reg; in good standing<br /> - Active and unexpired BCAT certification in good standing may be substituted for RBT&reg;, but must attain RBT&reg; certification within 90 days of hire</p> <p>- Submit proof of high school diploma or highest degree</p> <p>- Submit proof of valid CA driver&rsquo;s license</p> <p>- Reliable transportation to client locations in cities throughout the East Bay</p> <p>- Availability at least three days per week M-F and occasional Saturdays</p> <p>- Pass a DOJ and FBI background check</p> <p>- Submit proof of negative TB test, negative COVID-19 viral test, and immunizations</p> <p><br /> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:</p> <p><br /> - Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or current major in psychology, applied
