Maintenance Crew Member- Part Time

<p>Part time, year round 24-30hrs/week</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct general building maintenance and repairs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct grounds maintenance duties such as mowing and trimming, landscaping including excavating by machine and hand, fencing maintenance, tree trimming, etc.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist with various tasks as directed by supervisor.</p> </li> <li> <p>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment (forklift, skid steer, trailers) in performing duties.</p> </li> <li> <p>Some equipment operating experience preferred (skid loaders, tractors, zero turn mowers, aerial lifts, etc.)</p> </li> <li> <p>Respond to maintenance needs as directed by the supervisor.</p> </li> <li> <p>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be at least 18 years of age and 1 year of post-high school work experience.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Basic carpentry skills preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be available to work at least 3 days/week.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, inclement weather, cold, etc.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to stand, lift, walk, carry for long periods of time.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be a team player.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have the ability to use hand and power tools including hammer, sledgehammer, shovel, jackhammer, chain saw, miter saw, table saw, etc.</p> </li> </ul>
