If you have a holistic perspective, enjoy the challenge of playing an integral role in developing client relationships, and are interested in adapting an environment to fit the needs of the client, then consider working for us.<br /> <br /> Job Responsibilities <ul> <li>Address aspects of performance to promote interaction with occupations that positively influence fitness, well-being, health, and overall quality of life for each individual you work with.</li> <li>Select and modify relevant occupational therapy treatment principles, methods, and strategies to regulate the intervention process.</li> <li>Apply modifications to maximize protection, performance, and safety in instrumental and vital daily living activities.</li> <li>Educate clients on new ways of approaching tasks and train them on how to break activities down into attainable components.</li> <li>Access the homes and work environments of patients to offer guidance on alterations that are consistent with their requirements and capabilities.</li> <li>Recommend adaptive equipment and train clients on how to correctly and safely utilize those devices.</li> <li>Guide and instruct family members and caregivers on modifications to accommodate the needs of the client.</li> <li>Observe, note, and report on the progress of short- and long-term treatment goals, including collecting data and reporting on progress goals.<br /> &nbsp;</li> </ul> Job Skills &amp; Qualifications<br /> <br /> Required<br /> &nbsp; <ul> <li>Bachelor&#39;s degree</li> <li>Occupational therapy certification and licensure</li> <li>Excellent working knowledge of the practices and principles of occupational therapy</li> <li>Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication skills<br /> &nbsp;</li> </ul> Preferred <ul> <li>Ability to handle clients with various personality types</li> <li>Hands-on experience with creative media and computer programs</li> </ul>
