Ground Support Technician -- Immediate Openings

<p>Supports Electrician Technicians and Crew Foreman from the ground in the installation and retrofitting of lighting fixtures<br /> <br /> Key Tasks and Responsibilities<br /> &bull; Loading and unloading, deliver cargo from truck, trailers, trains, boats and other modes of transportation. Equipment that may be used to perform the duties may include dollies, pallet jacks, rolling barrels, rolling carts, wheelbarrows, and/or walk-behind forklift machines to help them do their jobs. Staging material at locations instructed by the Electrician Tech and/or the Crew Foreman when needed<br /> &bull; Maintain clean and organized work environment<br /> &bull; Sweeping, mopping, signage placement, taping off work areas, placing safety cones and barricades, control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones, stocking and clearing material staging areas, set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, ramps and other temporary structures<br /> &bull; Cleaning of fixtures and lamps, using appropriate solutions and materials<br /> &bull; Restoring/cleaning tools used by all crew members<br /> &bull; Complying with the company&rsquo;s personal hand tools requirements and maintain at all times<br /> &bull; Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with those contacted in the course of work<br /> &bull; Working closely with Electricians, Crew Foreman, and Electrician Technicians assisting with daily work loads<br /> <br /> Other Qualifications&nbsp;<br /> &bull; May operate hand and power tools of all types: a basic set of tools is recommended, portable tool belt, screwdrivers, wrenches, battery powered drills, wire cutters and wire strippers, pliers, cutters and crimpers, headband light for low light conditions<br /> <br /> Job Requirements<br /> &bull; High School Diploma or GED is recommended but not required based on the level of literacy, communication, and understanding specific work tasks</p>
