SUMMARY: To work collaboratively as part of a high performing, commercially focused finance team, to support end-to-end tax, reporting and compliance requirements of the Company and Funds under management ACCOUNTABILITIES: General Accounting and Reporting Provide support to the Group Accountants - offshore such as but not limited with Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and credit card recharges. Preparation and posting month end journals such as but not limited in prepayments, accruals, AASB 16 etc for various entities. Preparations of balance sheet reconciliations for various entities Reconciliation of accounting FAR vs tax FAR for various entities Preparation of bank facility compliance calculation and certificate Updating Cash flow analysis on fortnightly basis Assist with finance cost forecast Assist with auditor queries on half year review/full year audit Assist with preparation of half year / year-end financial statements Taxation Assist with monthly tax provision / deferred tax calculations and journals Preparation of monthly Business Activity Statements Assist with preparation and lodgement of tax compliance documents (income tax return, payroll tax, Fringe Benefits Tax etc) Intercompany A Liaise with venue accountants on month end reporting and intercompany recharges Preparation of elimination journals for various consolidation entities Preparation of intercompany reconciliations for various entities Lease Accounting Management of internal/external leases through lease management software (Nomos One) Generate periodic rental invoices and recharge of outgoings to lessee Assist with AASB16 lease accounting entries for half year / year end Other Assist with other reporting requirements of team where required such as but not limited in Payment Times Reporting Scheme, in keeping track of new units'' allotment and redemptions as per external reports, in information request for independent valuation, in information request for insurance renewals and in regulatory matters (e.g. ASIC and company secretary task) as required. Other adhoc tasks as required PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: CA or CPA qualified (Preferred) Preferred from Big 4 Audit Firms. 5 years and up relevant experience Ability to work autonomously when required and handle work with accountability. Willingness to take on any task, be flexible with your approach, have a can-do attitude, be adaptable and think of solutions that deliver results. High level organizational skills with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment taking ownership and responsibility for delivering against deadlines. Excellent verbal (in person and on phone) and written communication skills, to maintain strong relationships within finance as well as across all levels of corporate and business stakeholders. Experience in D365 or similar is desirable. Strong computer literacy and excel skills.
