<p><strong>Job Type:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Production Sanitation</p> <p><strong>Job Posting Title:&nbsp;</strong>Sanitation Associate<br /> <br /> <strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Night shift: 12 hour shift<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Hours: 6:00pm-6:30am<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Job Description:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Support Safety efforts and contribute to Safety Awareness on a daily basis. Report safety incidents in a timely manner.</li> <li>Actively participate in maintaining a &ldquo;Food Safe&rdquo; environment for our ST Specialty Foods and our &ldquo;Customers&rdquo;.</li> <li>Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Guidelines.</li> <li>Perform detailed cleaning in production and warehousing areas per the Master Sanitation Schedule.</li> <li>Complete all required sanitation paperwork daily and in an accurate manner.</li> <li>Support wet wash processes in production as needed. This may include disassembly and assembly of equipment.</li> <li>Perform special sanitation projects sometimes with little prior notice. Daily or weekend overtime may be required to complete these projects.</li> <li>Perform special cleaning &amp; disinfecting procedure for blood borne pathogens, when needed on the plant floor and equipment&ndash; blood and biohazard clean up</li> <li>Support sanitation requirements for maintaining and supplying rest rooms and other areas as assigned.</li> <li>Mix and provide sanitation chemicals for personal assignments and to support needs in other areas.</li> <li>Transport trash and waste to disposal area. Maintain a constant vigil to pick up waste and debris. Clean up ingredient spills immediately.</li> <li>Participate in improvement projects to support Continuous Improvement and Sanitation Improvement directions.</li> <li>Support &ldquo;Food Safety&rdquo; efforts by reporting pest and debris issues to the Quality Department.</li> <li>Able to adjust work Schedule to suite our business needs during Audits Schedules and Plant Tours as needed</li> <li>Able to work effectively and efficiently</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong><br /> High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).<br /> Desire and willingness to learn and accept responsibility.<br /> Prefer over 3 months up to and including 12 months of qualifying experience on related work or including lower level jobs within or outside the company<br /> <br /> <strong>TO APPLY:</strong> email resume to [email protected]</p>
