This role sits within Laurentian Bank.

The business solutions advisor will report to the Senior Manager Business Solutions of Commercial banking services and will be primarily responsible for implementing functionality evolutions and process related to the T24 banking and Visa system. The advisor will provide application support as well as data quality monitoring for T24 and Visa.

Responsibilities


Provide daily support to Commercial Banking users for T24 and Visa
Identify training needs related to systems
Contribute to operational efficiency improvements by identifying necessary enhancements to the system and improving task automation
Contribute to various bank transformation projects as the Commercial Banking representative and T24 and Visa system expert
Identify functional issues, anomalies, and critical improvements
Participate in documentation of business requirements and impacted processes
Establish acceptance test strategies (planning, documentation) and ensure execution in collaboration with the various users and stakeholders
Contribute to change management for Commercial Banking users during the implementation of new functionalities
Monitor T24 and Visa technology deployments and bug fixes
Identify potential solutions for functional issues and escalate incidents to appropriate departments when needed
Ensure data integrity and perform regular monitoring
Contribute to the identification and solutions for data issues and monitor the effectiveness of remediation plans
Complete additional task of the same nature or of a general nature requested by their manager or required within the framework of their role

Qualifications


Qualifications

University education in a field related to Finance and minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience ideally in the financial field
Oral and written French and English*

Specific skills

Manipulate data in Excel (intermediate/advanced)
Analytical and conceptual skills
Ability to adapt and learn quickly new environments and systems
Focused on results, productivity, and continuous improvement
Leadership, autonomy, sense of organization and ability to work as a team
Know how to prioritize and develop privileged contact with users
