<p>Job description<br /> Client facing role to design secure security solutions for new projects that will be integrated into the existing environment. This includes working as a team member with client personnel to identify functional requirements and provide guidance to the team on designing a solution that will adhere to all compliance standards. The selected candidate must be able to advise other professionals on security tools, technology and methodologies related to the design and development of IT solutions.<br /> <br /> This role helps clients understand key security and privacy issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities using workshops and assessments and develop security and privacy programs to meet client&#39;s business needs. They also architect secure solutions to address specific security and privacy requirements.<br /> <br /> The incumbent must have a background in Information Security, with experience in working with technologists, business partners and third parties on addressing security-related challenges and opportunities.<br /> <br /> The candidate must also have excellent skills in the following areas:<br /> - Strong technical skills required in one or more of the following areas: infrastructure support, networking, application development, distributed mainframe, third party integration, web technology<br /> - Strong written and verbal communication skills<br /> - A solid understanding of information security policies and standards is required (or equivalent if external candidate)<br /> - Proven ability to perform security risk assessments, communicate (in writing and verbally) the results, and advise on actions to reduce or eliminate risk<br /> - Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to build new relationships quickly with customers and partners<br /> - Be able to function in an &lsquo;on demand&rsquo; environment<br /> <br /> Required<br /> High School Diploma/GED<br /> - At least 5 years experience in Security Knowledge<br /> - At least 1 year experience in Risk Management<br /> - Readiness to travel 10% travel annually<br /> <br /> &nbsp;</p>
