Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client''s team. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects in line with the clients requirements. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the heavy industrial sector. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing large-scale plant shutdowns and complex industrial projects. Comprehensive understanding of the Oil & Gas, Mining & Industrial, Pulp & Paper, and Power Generation industries. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software tools. Knowledge of industry-specific health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Project Execution and Control: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure project targets are being met. Monitor and report on project performance, including budget, schedule, and quality, and implement necessary corrective actions. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks. Manage project changes, including scope, schedule, and costs. Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that the project objectives are communicated clearly. Provide direction and support to the project team. Evaluate and develop the skills of team members. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all projects are delivered in compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and client specifications. Prioritize and enforce safe work practices to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Negotiate with clients and suppliers to obtain resources and materials as needed. Working Conditions: The role may involve working in harsh environments and may require travel to different project sites. Must be available to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
