Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Apprentice Mechanic in Middle Sackville, NS to work at a well-known and well-established company majoring in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role and is proficient in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair. Pay rate: $45,000/year Location: Middle Sackville, NS Shifts : Monday to Friday; 7h30 - 17h00 Job type: Full-time; Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: Road test vehicles and test automotive systems and components Perform preventative & predictive maintenance & repairs Diagnose cause of any malfunction & perform repairs to manufacturer''s specifications Perform maintenance tasks & maintain a clean work area at all times Complete reports to record problems and work performed Work in accordance with all safety procedures, regulations and standards Requirements and Qualifications: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related role Proficient in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair Knowledge of fuel, ignition, cooling, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, air brake systems Skilled in operating tools, equipment, parts and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment Skilled in the repair of special-purpose equipment Able to diagnose defects in and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles Must have a deep knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to read hydraulic schematics Able to read and comprehend service and technical information Capable of utilizing fleet maintenance software programs Knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance program is required A valid driver''s license is required Should have a high degree of professionalism, exceptional organizational skills and a great commitment to a safe workplace Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, independently as well as part of a team Possess a strong awareness of quality control Able to be cross-trained in different areas Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada If you are looking to take your career to new heights with this Apprentice Mechanic job opportunity in Middle Sackville, NS, Apply now!
